How to generate this month's rent bills for all tenants
Create rent bills for every active tenant in one tap with Generate bills. BoardHub skips anyone already billed and uses each room's rent and due day.

Instead of making a rent bill for each tenant, let BoardHub make the whole month in one go. This works on both Free and Pro.
Step by step
- Open Bills and tap Generate bills.
- Tap This month's bills.
- Check the Billing Month. It starts on the current month, and you can pick another.
- Read the summary: how many active tenants will be billed.
- Tap Generate Bills.

What happens next
BoardHub shows how many bills were created and how many were skipped. Each bill:
- uses the tenant's room rent: split among the tenants in a Per Room room, or the full rate in a Per Person room
- is due on the same day of the month as the tenant's move-in date (capped at the 28th, so February works)
- gets any matching discount rule applied, with the reason shown on the bill
- is paid from the tenant's advance credit right away, if they have any
Tips
- Tenants with no move-in date are due on the 1st, or on the Default Bill Due Day if you set one under Automations & Email (Pro). Add move-in dates to get each tenant's real due day.
- Only rent is generated. Add electricity, water and other charges with Create Bill.
- You can also just tell BoardHub AI "Generate this month's bills". It shows a confirmation card first.
- Catching up on months you missed? Use Past months catch-up in the same Generate bills menu.
Pro: On Pro you can turn on Auto-Generate Monthly Bills so this happens by itself at the start of every month.
Frequently asked questions
What if I press Generate twice?
Nothing doubles. Tenants who already have a rent bill for that month are skipped.
Why was a tenant skipped?
They already had a rent bill for that month, their room has no monthly rent set, or they aren't marked Active. Reserved tenants are never billed.
