Set up your first boarding house in BoardHub
Finish BoardHub's short setup, then add your property, rooms and tenants and make your first bills. Most landlords are running in about 10 minutes.

Right after you sign up, BoardHub walks you through a short setup. After that, four quick steps on your Home screen get your boarding house fully running.
Step by step
- Choose your plan. Tap Get Started Free, or Upgrade to Pro if you want Pro. Everyone starts on Free either way.
- Set up your brand. Add your property or business name (required), plus an optional logo, tagline, contact email, phone and address. Tap Save & Continue.
- Read the walkthrough. Tap Next through the six cards, then Go to Dashboard.
- On Home, follow the Let's set up your property checklist: Add your property, Set up your rooms, Add your tenants, then Create your first bills.

What happens next
Each checklist item ticks itself off as soon as BoardHub sees it done, and the whole card disappears once all four are finished. From then on, Home shows your collections, dues and room status instead.
Tips
- Add rooms before tenants. A tenant must be assigned to a room, so the room has to exist first.
- Set each room's Assignment Type correctly (Per Room or Per Person). It decides how rent is billed.
- For the bills step, you don't need to make each one by hand. Use Generate bills on the Bills page to create this month's rent for everyone at once.
- Prefer to look around first? Tap Show me around under the checklist for a guided tour.
Tip: Moving from a notebook or Excel? You can import your tenant list from a CSV or Excel file instead of typing everyone in.
Frequently asked questions
Can I skip the setup screens?
Yes. On the walkthrough you can tap Skip walkthrough and go straight to your dashboard. The Let's set up your property checklist stays on Home until you finish.
Does picking Pro during setup charge me right away?
No. Everyone starts on Free. If you pick Pro, BoardHub takes you to the upgrade page after setup, where you pay by GCash, Maya or bank transfer and upload the proof.
