Your first week with BoardHub: a simple checklist
The seven things to do in your first week on BoardHub, from rooms and tenants to bills, payment methods and portal access for your boarders.

You don't need to do everything on day one. Work through this list during your first week and BoardHub will be running your billing for you by month-end.
Step by step
- Check your rooms. On Rooms, make sure each room has the right capacity, monthly rent and Assignment Type (Per Room or Per Person).
- Add every tenant. On Tenants, add each boarder and assign their room. Fill in their move-in date, because it sets their monthly due day.
- Record move-in money. Open Money setup on each tenant to note their advance and deposit, and tick what is already paid.
- Make this month's bills. On Bills, tap Generate bills, then This month's bills.
- Tell tenants how to pay you. In My Account, under How tenants pay you, turn on GCash, Maya, bank transfer or other methods and add your details.
- Give tenants portal access. Set a portal password for each tenant who has an email, so they can see their bills and send payment proof.
- Try BoardHub AI. Tap Ask BoardHub AI and ask "Pending payments this month".

What happens next
As tenants pay, record each payment (or approve their GCash or Maya proof) and their bills update by themselves. Home then shows who has paid and who still owes.
Tips
- Install BoardHub on your phone so it opens like a normal app.
- Turn on the app lock if other people use your phone.
- Stuck on something? Open Help & Guide and tap Show me around for the guided tour.
Pro: On Pro, you can switch on automatic monthly bills so you never need to press Generate again.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to enter my old payment history?
No. Most landlords start from this month forward. If you want older months on record, use Add Historical Payment on a tenant's profile or Past months catch-up under Generate bills.
