Add your boarding house, dorm, apartment or inn to BoardHub with its name, address and logo, then start adding rooms to it. Takes about a minute.

A property is the building your tenants live in. Add it first, because every room and tenant in BoardHub belongs to a property.
Step by step
- Open Properties. On a phone, tap More, then Properties.
- Tap Add Property.
- Type the Name (required) and an optional Tagline. Tap the small camera icon to add a logo or photo.
- Under What kind of place is it?, pick Boarding house, Dormitory, Apartment or Hotel / Inn.
- Type the full Address (required), and the City if you like.
- Leave Status on Active, add a short Description if you want, then tap Create.

What happens next
Your property appears as a card showing how many of its rooms are Available, Occupied, Reserved and the Total. The numbers stay at zero until you add rooms on the Rooms page.
Tips
- To change details later, tap the pencil icon on the property card, edit, then tap Save Changes.
- The kind of place you choose shapes the wording and photos if you later build your BoardHub website, so pick the one that fits.
- Use Inactive or Maintenance status for a building you're not renting out right now, instead of deleting it.
Pro: Free covers 1 property. If you try to add a second one, BoardHub shows an upgrade window. Pro has no limit.
Frequently asked questions
How many properties can I add?
Free includes 1 boarding house. Pro lets you add as many as you own.
What happens to rooms if I delete a property?
Its rooms and records stay, but the property itself is removed. Deleting can't be undone, so edit the property instead if you only need to change details.
