Step by step
- Sign in at boardhubph.com/tenant-portal.
- Tap Submit a Payment on Overview (on a phone, the + button in the middle of the bottom bar).
- Under Select Bill, choose the bill being paid.
- Enter the Amount (₱) and Payment Date.
- Choose the Payment Method. For GCash, Maya or bank, BoardHub shows the landlord's details with copy buttons and a QR code to scan. Pay in your GCash, Maya or bank app.
- Type the Reference # from your app.
- Optional: tap Attach screenshot under Payment Screenshot, and add Notes.
- Tap Submit for Approval.
Tenant Portal›Submit a Payment›Submit for Approval
What happens next
The tenant sees Payment Submitted!, and the bill shows "Awaiting landlord's approval". You get a notification and the request appears under Payments, then For Approval. Once you approve, the tenant gets a "Payment Approved" notification and the payment moves to Approved & Recorded Payments, ready to print as a receipt.
If you reject it, the tenant is notified with your reason and can submit again.
Tips
- Only the methods you switch on in How tenants pay you appear for tenants, plus Cash.
- Ask tenants to always include the reference number. It makes checking your GCash or bank history fast.
- Tenants can pay part of a bill. When approved, the bill becomes Partially Paid.
Tip: Tenants who installed the portal on their phone get a notification as soon as you approve.
Frequently asked questions
Is the bill marked paid as soon as the tenant submits?
No. It shows Awaiting landlord's approval until you approve it under Payments, For Approval. Only then is the payment recorded.
Can a tenant send proof twice for the same bill?
The portal warns them if a request for that bill is already waiting for approval, so duplicates are less likely.
