How to send payment reminders to tenants who owe
Remind overdue tenants in a few taps from Tenants > Who Owes, or just ask BoardHub AI. Each tenant gets a portal notification and an email.

Chasing rent by text one tenant at a time takes forever. BoardHub lets you remind everyone who is late in one go, politely, with their exact balance.
Step by step
- Open Tenants (on your phone it's in the bottom bar).
- Tap the Who Owes tab, then make sure Late rent & bills is selected.
- Tick the box beside each tenant you want to remind. The box in the header ticks everyone on the page.
- Tap Send Reminders to (the button shows how many you picked).
- Type your own message if you like, or leave it blank for the default one.
- Tap Send Reminders.

The faster way: ask BoardHub AI
Open Ask BoardHub AI and type "remind overdue tenants". On the phone Home screen you can also tap the Remind shortcut. BoardHub AI shows who will get a reminder and only sends after you tap Send reminders on its card.
What happens next
Each tenant gets a "Payment Reminder" notification in their tenant portal. If they have an email on their profile, they also get an email showing their outstanding balance, with a View My Bills button to their portal.
The default message greets the tenant by name and states their total unpaid balance.
Tips
- Add an email to each tenant's profile so the reminder reaches their inbox too, not only the portal.
- The Print button on the same screen gives you a paper list of who owes, handy for collecting in person.
