Post an announcement to all your tenants
Put a banner at the top of every tenant's portal for brownouts, water interruptions or rent reminders. Turn it on or off with one switch.

An announcement is a banner your tenants see at the top of their portal. It's perfect for news that applies to everyone: a brownout schedule, a water interruption, a reminder that rent is due on the 5th.
Step by step
- Open the Notifications page. On a computer, tap the bell at the top, then View all notifications. On your phone, tap More, then Notifications.
- Scroll down to Announce to My Tenants.
- Tap New Announcement.
- Enter a Title, for example "No water Saturday 8 AM to 12 NN".
- Add details in Message (optional) if needed.
- Pick a Style: Info (blue), Success (green) or Warning (amber).
- Turn the switch on if you want it Live immediately, then tap Create.

The editor shows a live preview, so you can check how the banner looks before saving.
What happens next
Only announcements marked live are shown to tenants. Use the switch beside each announcement to show or hide it instantly. You can also preview, edit or delete it from the same list.
Tips
- Turn an announcement off once the event is over, so tenants don't keep seeing old news.
- Use the Warning style for urgent notices so they stand out.
Tip: Announcements are free on every plan. For a private conversation with one tenant, use Messages (Pro).

Who sees my announcement?
Every tenant in your properties sees it as a banner at the top of their tenant portal while it is switched on.
Can I prepare an announcement now and show it later?
Yes. Leave the switch off when you save it. It stays saved as disabled until you flip it on.
