Lock BoardHub with a PIN, fingerprint or Face ID
Turn on app lock so BoardHub asks for your PIN, fingerprint or Face ID when you come back. Keeps tenant details private if someone picks up your phone.

Your phone holds your tenants' names, numbers and payments. App lock adds a PIN, or your fingerprint or face, so a borrowed or lost phone doesn't open BoardHub.
Step by step
- On your phone, tap More, then Security & app lock. On a computer, click Security & app lock in the sidebar (under My Account), or your profile picture at the top, then Security & app lock.
- Under Turn on app lock, enter a New PIN of 4 to 6 digits and type it again in Repeat PIN.
- Under Lock BoardHub when I've been away for, choose Right away, 1 min, 5 min, 15 min or 30 min.
- Keep Also unlock with fingerprint or Face ID ticked if your phone offers it.
- Enter Your account password.
- Tap Turn on app lock, then follow your phone's fingerprint or face prompt.

What happens next
The screen shows "App lock is on". When you return to BoardHub after the time you chose, it asks for your PIN, or you can tap Unlock with fingerprint or Face ID.
Managing app lock
- Fingerprint & Face ID: on another phone or computer, open this page and tap Add this device (it names your device, like "Add this Android phone"). Remove old devices from the list.
- Auto-lock: change how long BoardHub waits before locking. You'll need your current PIN.
- Change PIN: tap Change my PIN, enter the new PIN twice and your password.
- Turn off app lock: removes your PIN and every fingerprint device. You'll need your current PIN.
Tip: App lock protects the phone. For your account itself, also turn on two-step verification.
