What happens next
You'll see "Password updated!" and can sign in with the new password straight away. If your account was locked after too many wrong attempts, a successful reset unlocks it too.
Common questions
Is this the same for tenants? Tenants use the Forgot password? link on the tenant portal sign-in screen, and their reset link works the same way. Tenant passwords need at least 8 characters too.
Will this turn off two-step verification? No. If you use an authenticator app, you'll still be asked for your 6-digit code after the new password.
Tip: Use a password you don't use anywhere else, and keep it somewhere safe, like your phone's password manager.
